The Observer, our local paper, did a nice article on the top 10 local stories for the year. I'll highlight some - because it's interesting to note the weird things that happen in suburbia - yet something about The Observer itself confuses me. Their link as printed on the front page of their newspaper is: www.theatascocitaobserver.com, but if you go to that URL you are immediately bounced to http://www.zwire.com/site/news.asp?brd=1574&nav_sec=69993. What's up with that? When it happened, I initially thought that I had typed 'atascocita' incorrectly and had been bounced to some other website. But no, I typed in the URL again (no 'going back' to the URL... it no longer displays 'www.theatascocitaobserver.com') and ended up at the same zwire.com location. Weird, huh?
